Live has two parts. With Speech, you listen to the AI interpretation in your headphones or on a receiver, or read it live on your phone, with Insights and accessibility tools. With Captions, what the speaker says appears on your main screen, your side screens or a strip, in the original language, translated, or both. Backstage is the platform you run it from: you set up your events, rooms, languages and screens, or the Link3rs team does it for you.

Organisers run congresses, conferences and trade fairs in 60+ languages, without booths or receivers. AV partners add AI interpretation and live captions to the setups they already run, and venues offer them in their rooms. Education, companies and associations use it for talks, town halls and international meetings that each person follows in their language.

When you scan the QR, you see the event's languages and pick yours. You can listen to the interpretation, read the text, or both. On the room's screens, captions can show the speaker's language, the room's, or two at once.

Tell us about your event and we'll come back with a proposal. On the day, Live stops when the room goes quiet, with a countdown first, so a ten-hour event with three breaks doesn't need watching. And if the quota runs out in the middle of a talk, the talk goes on: the platform measures the overage and reports it.

Scan it with your phone's camera and choose your language from the list. Everything happens in the browser, so there's nothing to download before the event.

You can switch languages whenever you like, and put the original and the translation side by side, to compare or to learn.

With your own phone and headphones, there are no receivers to hand out or collect and no booths to set up. You hear a translated voice, one channel per language, in your own headphones.

The settings are on your phone, so you read the way that suits you. And with captions on the room's screens too, more people can follow, understand and take part.

That way you can follow the session without taking notes, and keep the key points for later.

You can show the speaker's language, the room's, or two at once on the same screen. And with conditional captions you set a pair: if the speaker switches to English, the captions switch to Spanish, and nobody touches the selector.

On the Live page you can change the settings and preview how the captions would look in the room before you decide.

In Captions mode, one microphone and one screen are enough: press Start and the captions appear. All the languages keep running, so tapping a preset only changes which one is on screen.

It fits in where you already are, and the technician gets in with a key, not an account.

If you run it yourself, the whole console fits on your phone: upright it's the console, sideways it's the preset board. You can stand at the back of the room, hear in your headphones what's really coming in, and switch languages from there.

It reads a rehearsal recording too. And in venues, the city, the sponsor and the house's own titles are written once, and every event in that venue gets them right.

Each output chooses where it comes from, so the platform joins your signal chain instead of fighting it. The audience hears a translated voice, one channel per language, in their own headphones, with no infrared receivers or interpreting booths.

It also checks whether the hotel Wi-Fi lets through what it needs to. And you can leave the console armed early, say at eight for an event at ten: when someone speaks, it starts first time.

As soon as someone presses Stop, the event is split into talks, named and trimmed. If a quote isn't in the transcript, that piece doesn't go out. The platform suggests who each voice is, with the exact sentence that backs it up, but it doesn't fill in the name. And the certificate also shows how much dropped and how much was paused on purpose.

Backstage is organised as Organization, Space, Event and Room: your company or institution, each venue where you hold events, each congress or fair, and each room where a session happens. The production company broadcasting that day gets a link that shows its own connection and nothing else, and that link can be revoked.

The only thing this website keeps in your browser is a temporary note when you change language, so the new page opens at the same point. It's a technical setting, exempt from consent, which is why there's no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we'll update the cookie policy and ask for your consent where required.
